This requires an overall digital strategy tailored to the international context.  <\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"news-text-wrap\">\n<p><strong>Background:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our society is facing major challenges. The high-performance, resource-efficient, intelligent, social and well-designed buildings and infrastructures that we will need in the future will require great technical expertise and much closer interaction between all stakeholders, as they become increasingly complex. Digitalisation can make a valuable contribution here. It is a tool and a method with which we can add value to our living, working and our constructed environment.   <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, digitalisation poses its own challenges to the design, construction and operation of buildings and infrastructure \u2013 as it does in other areas of society.
